Bateq Engineering B.V. supplies a series of service products to maintain and support every machine we supply in its complete life cycle in optimal condition. We do this because many of our customers ‘outsource’ the service and maintenance work on these machines in order to be more concerned with their own ‘core business’.

The base of our service technicians is our workshop in Almelo. All our employees have a VCA diploma and have access to fully equipped service cars to properly carry out the planned work.

24/7 Support

In the unlikely event that your machine malfunctions, BATEQ has a service department that is available 24/7, even outside our regular office hours. BATEQ has 3 levels of service, the starting point is that our customer tries to analyze the problems themselves as much as possible and solve them with our support.

1st Line service

Operators and/or the technical service of the end users will solve any problems with a BATEQ machine/installation themselves. BATEQ takes care of its preventive maintenance.

2nd Line service

In the unlikely event that this technical service cannot resolve a fault within a reasonable period, they can call on our service department 24/7.

These specialists can watch remotely by logging into the machine’s operating system and usually analyze the fault within a relatively short time. The outcome and possible solution will be communicated to the end user’s technical service, which can take the necessary actions to solve the problem.

3rd Line service

In the exceptional case that our service department cannot resolve the problem after the above lines, a specialist will go on site and attempt to resolve the fault on-site.

BATEQ offers service contracts to help customers control maintenance costs and improve equipment reliability. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance. Good and regular maintenance is important, it reduces the risks of unplanned down time, loss of production, damage and/or other inconvenience.

Annually, agreements are made with end users of our machines regarding the performance of preventive maintenance. These agreements are recorded in a schedule so that it is known well in advance when the maintenance will be carried out. The intervals of this maintenance can vary greatly, depending on the number of production hours, the production environment, the product to be processed, type of machines, the input and organization of the end user’s own maintenance service, etc.

For all service agreements, a specific machine status report is drawn up during each visit. We will keep this report in the machine history, indicating which parts have been replaced and/or recommendations for work that should be carried out during the next maintenance (or earlier). are carried out. The frequency and extent of the maintenance intervals are determined annually based on available data.

BATEQ wants to ‘relieve’ its customers and therefore offers them the opportunity to enter into a service agreement when purchasing a machine and/or installation. Drawing up a service agreement is often tailor-made, our advisors are happy to inform you about the possibilities.

Fast delivery of original spare parts

Supply of original spare parts

BATEQ has its own production and assembly facilities, which enables us to produce and deliver so-called ‘manufactured parts’ quickly. Through ‘night supply’ our service engineers can have the desired parts the next day.

Many common and standard parts are stored with us as grab stock. We advise you to keep the specific ‘Longleads’ and the ‘Recommended’ spare parts in stock yourself so that you never run out. To do this, you can consult the recommended spare parts list which is included in the manual of the machine and/or installation.

These are usually parts that can be replaced relatively quickly and can minimize unexpected downtime. Delivery of all required original spare parts for your BATEQ machines, usually within 24 hours.

We operate an efficient tracking system for the components used. When you submit a request to us, we always aim to provide you with the necessary information within 2 hours of the initial request.

OEE Tool

The ‘remote’ monitoring of machine performance. 24/7 monitoring of your production without you noticing it but from which you can use a lot of information to organize your production even more efficiently.

BATEQ can completely unburden you, besides supplying machines and systems we are also able to carry out the entire process of transport, unloading, installation and commissioning on-site for you. After commissioning, training machine operators and technical staff is also possible.

Deterioration of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are immediately visible and can be anticipated quickly. Every form of action, malfunction or standstill can be logged and analyzed. It is important that inconsistent data, for example through manual data entry, is avoided/prevented. Based on available information, the actual performance can be analyzed, the status of processes is thus immediately visible.

In this way, for example, preventive maintenance can be better planned and failure due to malfunctions and/or defects can be reduced.
